10 Games You Must Play on EA Play
Of course, if you haven’t spent the last few years in a cave, you probably have a rough idea of the games we’re going to recommend to you. However, considering that some of you may be new to EA Play or have stayed away from EA games so far due to their prices, we’ve prepared a list of 10 must-play games for you.
1.Battlefield 1
For players who love war games, two game series undoubtedly dominate the agenda: Call of Duty and Battlefield. Battlefield 1 takes us to World War I and introduces the concept of “human stories in the midst of war” to the series. These stories in the campaign mode attempted to depict not only the wholesale destruction of war but also the individual impact it had on people, portraying those who died in the war as individuals with dreams and families, showing how the war brought about significant changes in their lives. Although somewhat short, the campaign mode deserves to be played for this aspect. In the multiplayer mode, it hosted epic battles of large groups – and it’s fair to say that in this regard, it outshines the Call of Duty series.
2.A Way Out
How about crowning the opportunity to access EA Play games with a great co-op game, just like many of your friends who have Game Pass? The game, written and directed by the wild name of the gaming world, Josef Fares, can only be played by two people and does not have a single-player option. Vincent Moretti and Leonard Caruso’s story of escaping from prison will make you wish there were more games like this in this genre.
3.Mass Effect
Until now, not having played Mass Effect really requires you to have been stranded on a deserted island, trapped in a cave, or emerged from a deep coma. But in this life, anything is possible, including being oblivious to John Shepard and his incredible space saga until now. When it comes to space science fiction, if the Star Wars series comes to mind as a movie and Battlestar Galactica as a series, then Mass Effect should come to mind as a game. I guess there’s no need to say more when I mention these names together.
4.The Sims 4
The Sims 4 is a life simulation game where you can use your imagination to create your own sims, homes, relationships, and lives. The game allows you to determine the personalities, appearances, skills, careers, hobbies, and more of your sims. Additionally, the game is continuously updated with many expansion packs, game packs, and stuff packs. EA Play and EA Play Pro members have unlimited access to the full version of the game.
5.Titanfall 2
Titanfall 2 is an FPS game that revolves around the battle between giant robots and pilots. The game features a story mode that follows the journey of a soldier named Jack Cooper and his Titan, BT-7274, as well as various multiplayer modes, maps, weapons, and abilities. Additionally, the game offers fluid gameplay, exciting action, an emotional storyline, and creative design. EA Play and EA Play Pro members have unlimited access to the full version of the game.
6.Dead Space
Dead Space series, all three games of the main series are available on EA Play, but recommending Dead Space is not just because it’s the first game in the series. In my opinion, the first Dead Space is the best among all Dead Space games, considered one of the greatest games of all time. It emerged during a time when survival horror games were synonymous with Resident Evil, but Dead Space took us to the depths of space and said, “Let me show you how horror is done.”
7.Star Wars: Battlefront 2
Battlefront 2 became the game that put EA in the spotlight. The issue of microtransactions became so prominent that EA had to backtrack, and then focused on steps to redeem the game. The end result left many questioning, “Why didn’t they release the game like this from the beginning?” After a short-lived single-player campaign, the multiplayer section, where you can spend dozens of hours, is now more enjoyable. They also brought plenty of additional content to make up for the initial flaws. From Obi Wan Kenobi to Darth Maul, Emperor Palpatine to Kylo Ren, the game hosts many iconic characters and doesn’t fall short of taking us to memorable planets and battles from the Star Wars universe. It’s also a great alternative for space dogfighting before SW: Squadrons, so I suggest giving it a chance.
8.Need for Speed: Heat
Need for Speed: Heat is a racing game set in the fictional city of Palm City. The game offers an open world where you can participate in legal races during the day and street races and police chases at night. Additionally, the game features vehicle customization, performance upgrades, various modes, graphics, and music. That’s why it ranks 8th on our list of the top 15 EA Play and EA Play Pro games for 2024. EA Play and EA Play Pro members can have unlimited access to the full version of the game.
9. It Takes Two
It Takes Two is a platform game that two players can play together. The game tells the story of Cody and May, a couple whose daughter turns them into toy dolls with a magical book, and they embark on an adventure to save their relationship. Additionally, the game features cooperative gameplay, creative design, various locations, puzzles, mini-games, and a compelling story. All these reasons contribute to its inclusion among the top 10 EA Play games. EA Play and EA Play Pro members can have unlimited access to the full version of the game.
10.Dragon Age: Inquisition
Dragon Age: Inquisition is a role-playing game set in a fantastical world. The game follows the story of an Inquisitor, whom you control, as they attempt to save the continent of Thedas from Fade Rifts and an evil entity known as the Elder One. Additionally, the game features a vast open world, character customization, combat system, side quests, companions, romances, and a rich storyline. EA Play and EA Play Pro members can have unlimited access to the full version of the game.
